Los Picamato come from Valencia and they re one of the most outstanding acts in the vibrant garage scene of that city. In their music you’ll find a lot of 60’s garage-punk and also 80’s revival but you can also see in them a pop spirit that places them above average garage bands and takes their music to a higher level of complexity, that very same spirit that you could find in bands such as Miracle Workers, Barracudas, Stems or late Cynics… well, we’re talking about real ROCK’N’ROLL.
After listening to their first demo tape we knew we wanted them to join Sunny Day and here they are, with a great first 45, three self-penned compositions full of fuzz, farfisa and melodies plus a cover of The Monkees ***250 copies limited edition ***
