Fogbound have quickly become one of the latest sensations in European 60’s scene and their debut 45 has not even been released yet! but there are many reasons to explain it. This quartet don’t have too much history behind them because they got together very recently, however, when there’s a bursting talent, things tend to go faster and expectation tends to grow exponentially. As soon as you listen to one of their songs you realize they really enjoy walking through forgotten late 60’s paths as their sound heavily draws upon the best British and American psychedelic sounds, though it would be a mistake to think that it’s only that, as in their spirit you’ll also find much (power) pop and more contemporary influences. And as soon as you see them live, you’ll find out that their outstanding ability to write haunting songs midway between old lysergic tradition and modern guitar pop is not their only asset. Fogbound are surprising everybody with unforgettable wild live performances, full of energy and sometimes chaos where the late addition of a mad and extremely-talented Hammond organ player has added an extra point of “awesome-ness”. In this debut 45 Fogbound give us two self-penned compositions, already anthems among many old & neo psychedelic fans, recorded at Circo Perrotti after winning The Battle of the Bands at Euro Ye-Yé mod & 60’s weekend in 2013. This is the beginning of something huge.
