CONAN CASTRO & THE MOONSHINE PIÑATAS-Shrimp Waterf
Sello: Groovie records
After the singles “L’arrampicata”, “Mohawk Valley Formula” and, more recently, “Nethervanilla”, the latter released by british label Aldora Britain Records, the time has finally come to get our hands on their long awaited new album.
Armed with a divine sense of depravity and the lowest available moral standards, these five Castro chicos will deliver you songs about injustice, love, lies, oppression, sex, violence, black magic, freedom, sea food, car chases and of course computer malfunctions. Fasten your seat belt, loosen up your senses and let them drive you into a world of colors, rhythms, melodies, and a multi-language outrage.
The maniacally feverish garage-punk-rock sound from Conan Castro and The Moonshine Piñatas came together in late 2014. Hailing from Barreiro, a suburb of Lisbon, in Portugal, they comprised Leite Castro and Lixo Castro (guitars), Licor Castro (bass), Lindo Castro (drums) and Lama Castro (vocals).
