The Balloon Farm was a short-lived psychedelic band from New Jersey known as One-Hit Wonders. The band consisted of Mike Appel, Don Henny, Ed Schnug, and Jay Saks. They were originally called Adam and they recorded a song that was not successful titled "Eve". After that failed attempt to succeed, they moved to Laurie Records and changed their name to The Balloon Farm. At that time they had their only song "A Question of Temperature", which was written by the members of the band. The song peaked at # 37 on the Billboard Hot 100, but lasted only four weeks on the charts. Their next single "Hurry Up Sundown" didn't do well and the band quickly disbanded without recording an album.
A fantastic repro from the 60s! A garage pysch single with a spectacular design! Pressed onto translucent peach vinyl.
