Amyl and the Sniffers' debut album is the sound of 21st century Australia recorded in Sheffield with producer Ross Orton. It's primal and explosive with a foot in 70s Glam rock, the 70s Sharpie movement and rock n roll good times backed by lyrics that are somehow both bleak and nihilistic, as well as humorous and celebratory.
The album is packed with meaty riffs and shattering drums. It's got attitude, chutzpah and Amy's throaty howl.
